چکیده

Background: 90% of C-sections are supported by spinal anesthesia, which is complicated arterial hypotension in 60%-80% cases. The perfusion index seems to be a significant prognostic tool for hypotension. Objective: Тo confirm the value predicting associated with anesthesia. Materials and methods: study included 105 female patients who underwent С-section under A decrease mean pressure ≤ 20% was considered as Baseline assessed pulse oximeter. Results: 68 (64.8%) developed intraoperative period. In 37 (35.2%) parturient women there were no changes blood pressure. cut-off threshold 3.1 75% sensitivity specificity obtained ROC analysis. Arterial 29.4% (n = 15) < 72.2% 39) > 3.1. Conclusions: We can use identify an increased risk anesthesia C-section. rate significantly higher initial compared those

Obesity Is Independently Associated with Spinal Anesthesia Outcomes: A Prospective Observational Study

The influence of body-mass index (BMI) on spinal anesthesia is still controversial, with discrepant results reported in previous studies. To compare spinal anesthesia in obese and non-obese subjects, the anesthesia profiles in patients who underwent spinal anesthesia using intrathecal hyperbaric bupivacaine were compared. A total of 209 patients undergoing elective total knee replacement arthro...

Lumbar spinal stenosis associated with peripheral arterial disease: a prospective multicenter observational study

BACKGROUND Intermittent claudication is a common symptom of both lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) and peripheral arterial disease (PAD) in middle-aged and elderly people. However, the prevalence and clinical characteristics of LSS with PAD (LSSPAD) have not been investigated in a multicenter study. The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence and clinical characteristics of LSS associate...

Monitoring of hypotension after spinal anesthesia in cesarean section with continuous non-invasive arterial pressure measurement

We compared continuous non-invasive arterial pressure device and intermittent oscillometric arterial pressure measurement in maintaining hemodynamic stability during spinal anaesthesia for cesarean section. One hundred American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I-II parturients undergoing elective cesarean section under spinal anesthesia were included. Based on a random number table, the partu...

Intraoperative burst suppression is associated with postoperative delirium following cardiac surgery: a prospective, observational study

BACKGROUND Postoperative delirium (POD) occurs frequently after cardiac surgery and is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. We analysed whether perioperative bilateral BIS monitoring may detect abnormalities before the onset of POD in cardiac surgery patients. METHODS In a prospective observational study, 81 patients undergoing cardiac surgery were included. Bilateral Bispectral...
